This two-semester course is aligned with the High School Iowa Core Math Standards. Geometry topics include  principles of logic, parallelism, congruence, similarity, circles, spheres, constructions and loci, areas, volumes, coordinate geometry, and transformations. This advanced course is an accelerated course designed to meet the needs of students who are proficient in their knowledge of the High School Iowa Core Math Standards in Algebra I.  This course is a prerequisite for Advanced Algebra II with Precalculus.
