This is a two-semester lab-based course.  This course is appropriate for students who are looking to gain a basic understanding of life science skills and content through a problem-based approach.  The course will consist of laboratory work, classroom activities, computer simulations, and assessments. This course places an emphasis on the life science standards associated with Iowa Science Standards.
