This one-semester course explores how literature reflects, challenges, and shapes our understanding of identity and culture. By engaging in close reading, written responses, and collaborative discussions, students will examine a diverse range of texts, including novels, short stories, films, and narratives. Through this exploration, students will reflect on how literature contributes to personal growth and social understanding. This course encourages reflection and critical thinking about the role of literature in understanding both ourselves and the world around us.
