Junior High Courses and Registration

Updated with information for the 2024-25 school year. 

Registering for junior high is an exciting time for junior high families. WDMCS wants to make this process easy by sharing information online and providing opportunities to answer questions at parent/guardian meetings. 

Steps to Registration

1. Early February: Students meet with counselor and teachers to learn about recommended courses for the next school year.
   • Incoming Seventh Graders: parents can participate in a virtual parent information meeting about the next year's registration process. Students participate in virtual tours.
   • Incoming Eighth Graders: parents can view video on registration process.
2. Mid-February: Parents and students review course listings and connect with teachers or the counselor with questions.
   • Students log into Canvas and review steps with their parents for registering online through a Canvas course.
   • Students and parents finalize course choices and register through Canvas Course.
